Legacy System Unable To Cope with Growth
As PT PAL’s legacy system aged, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading it were increasing. Report generating was another issue because it took too long to get reports through the system to the various people who required them. End users at the company have benefits, too. Mr. Effendi concludes, “Thanks to IFS Applications, our personnel can process reports more quickly and the accuracy of the data has improved. There is more information sharing, so more people are aware of what is happening around them, which gives us better overall control. The gains we have made from running IFS Applications is one of the reasons we are planning to upgrade to IFS Applications 7.”
